The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation ( IRCTC) is going to launch a new feature in the Irctc e ticketing system where the passengers can book whatever the coach and the berth they may like. This can help passengers to book the berth of their convenience. This also helps women, elder and handicapped passengers to book lower berths.
In the current system passengers has no choice of choosing the berth that they like. The irctc randomly selects the available berths and books those berths to the passengers.
The IRCTC is improving it services by providing new features and services to the passengers. Earlier irctc upgraded its website to next generation website. This upgrade was successful and the passengers are able to book tickets faster without any problems. After this upgrade irctc able to book around 7000 e tickets per minute which was 2000 in the earlier system.
I hope the irctc will improve the food catering services also. It should improve the quality of the food and serve the food at reasonable price.
